The boot is the mandatory starting stake each player puts into the pot before cards are dealt. It sets the minimum pot value for that round and cannot be skipped.

A blind player bets without looking at their cards. Their bet is capped at the current stake, and they can choose to see their cards at any point during the round.

A trail — also called three of a kind — is three cards of the same rank. It is the highest-ranking hand in Teen Patti Express, sitting above a pure sequence.

A side bet is an optional wager placed alongside the main ante, usually paying out on specific hand ranks like a pair or trail independent of who wins the main pot.

A seen player has looked at their own cards. Their minimum bet doubles compared to a blind player, and they can request a show once only one other active player remains.

Three consecutive cards of the same suit, such as 7-8-9 of hearts. It ranks second only to a trail and beats a normal sequence, flush, pair, and high card.
